Happy 2008, everyone! A new year means lots of new goodies, and the pictures and information are rolling in…

The anticipation was high for two lines that had a collectors’ series end in 2007 - Thomas Blackshear’s “The Blackshear Circle” and the Swarovski Crystal Society, and neither has disappointed. Click the links below for more information on each.

“The Blackshear Circle” introduces their new series, The Nativity, in 2008 with ‘The Holy Family’ figurine and ‘Baby Jesus’ ornament (both members-only pieces). This is another four-year series for Mr Blackshear and Company and will surely be a collection to treasure.

The “Swarovski Crystal Society” begins their new Endangered Wildlife trilogy this year also. ‘The Pandas’ is a stunning example of the craftsmanship of the artists and artisans in the Swarovski ‘family’.

Staying with Swarovski, we have added a page of their new Valentine’s Day 2008 Collection. We should start receiving the merchandise within a week or so, and it doesn’t last long…get your orders in early to ensure that our reorders can arrive and we can relay them to you in a timely fashion.

On a side note, there is a rumor circulating regarding a major concert at Boardwalk Hall on - or about - July 4th. It has not been confirmed by the band’s offices as yet, so I won’t speak out of turn, but as soon as it is verified, I’ll post it. This matters more to me than almost everyone I know, but they have a hardcore fanbase that will pack the Hall, I’m sure.
