Things sure have changed since Joe first opened La Maison Capri on the Atlantic City Boardwalk in 1976. Thirty-one years ago, if you had told anyone that there would be a desktop (and now even handheld) device with which you communicate with anybody, anywhere, chances are you would have been looked at like you were nuts. Now, however, it seems that we would be lost without them. The personal computer has truly changed the world and the way we look at it.

The Information Superhighway is well-travelled, whether it be for news, keeping in touch with friends and family, watching sports, movies or even television shows and, yes, even shopping. You can find anything you might be looking for with a simple online search. The one thing missing while shopping online is the interpersonal relationship between buyer and seller.

Thus our blog. This is our way to keep in touch and keep you informed of what is going on with your favorite collectibles and other items of interest. We would much rather tell you in person (and we will when you stop in and see us), but please check back often, as we will be updating the blog on a regular basis. That is the plan, at least.

Until then, we want to wish everyone the warmest of holiday seasons and that the coming New Year brings nothing but the best to all.
